Use of the Perrys Bathrooms website

By using this site, you agree to the terms of use set out below. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not permitted to use this site. Perrys-bathrooms.co.uk (Perrys Bathrooms) reserves the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update these terms of use, and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations, or updates on all subsequent visits.

Orders

Each order is accepted when your credit/debit card is processed. Any email or acknowledgment of your order is merely to report that your request has been received and will be looked at, and does not in any way denote acceptance of your order regardless of any wording on the email. perrys-bathrooms.co.uk (Perrys Bathrooms) reserves the right, at any time prior to acceptance, to refuse any order or any part of an order, or to require further information to enable it to evaluate any order.

Perrys-bathroms.co.uk (Perrys Bathrooms) accepts no liability in the event of any third party cost due to late deliveries for any reason (delivery dates are estimates only). If an order is expected to exceed 21 days from the date of order you will be given the opportunity to cancel or revise your order. Perrys-bathrooms.co.uk (ESPerrys Bathrooms) will not be bound to honour any pricing errors within the Perrys-bathrooms.co.uk website.

Without prejudice to the statutory rights afforded to consumers under English law, perrys-bathrooms.co.uk (Perrys Bathrooms) accepts no liability for any failure to ship products where this results from its inability to do so resulting from factors outside of it's control, or its decision on reasonable grounds not to do so for reasons of suspicion of credit card fraud or any similar reason, provided that it takes all reasonable steps to notify you within fourteen (14) days of order placement that products will not be shipped as ordered.

In such cases perrys-bathrooms.co.uk (Perrys Bathrooms) will not process any payment or will immediately refund any payment made, in full. It is your responsibility to ensure that you order from perrys-bathrooms.co.uk (Perrys Bathrooms) with sufficient lead time to prevent any loss or disappointment resulting from such non-shipment.

Delivery of Goods

You the customer agree to inspect on delivery, all items (where possible) for any damage including any visible transit damage (other than manufacturing faults) before signing the driver's delivery note. If you sign for the goods, even if you write the words "Unchecked" or similar on the delivery note, then you are accepting that the goods arrived without obvious external damage to the packaging and later claims for carrier damage will not be considered. If the driver refuses to wait while you check the goods then you must refuse to accept the delivery. Any missing items must be reported to perrys-bathrooms.co.uk; within 7 days of delivery. We will not accept liability for any shortages if they are not reported within this period.

If a delivery of undamaged items is refused you will be responsible for all costs relating to the return and redelivery of the goods. Do not arrange for a tradesman to install any items bought on the perrys-bathrooms.co.uk website until after they have been delivered and checked for damage.

The delivery will be made between 9.00am & 6.00pm Monday to Friday. The delivery will be made by a single driver. You accept responsibility to provide access and help (where needed) to assist the driver with the carrying of bulk/heavy items.

On goods small enough to be delivered by post you agree to open all boxes and thoroughly inspect the goods for damage. If the package is damaged in any way then you must sign the carriers paperwork with the word "damaged". You agree to notify us of any damage within 7 days of the delivery.

If someone else is signing for the goods on your behalf, you agree to advise them that the goods must be checked and you accept full responsibility for any loss or damage if they sign on your behalf and fail to check. You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of you accepting goods and signing a delivery note without checking the goods for carrier damage.

Cancellation of Orders

No charge will be made for any cancellation of goods that have not been dispatched. perrys-bathrooms.co.uk (Perrys Bathrooms) reserves the right to charge you the customer any costs incurred on all orders that have been dispatched, including return carrier charges and a 15% restocking charge on orders over seven days old. If the items have been taken out of their original packaging there will also be a 25% re-packaging fee as the item will need to be sent back to the manufacturers to be re-packaged as new.

Returns Policy - Faulty Goods

All products supplied by perrys-bathrooms.co.uk (Perrys Bathrooms) come with a manufactures guarantee. Any guarantee periods quoted on the website for any products are provided by the manufacturer and are not in any way endorsed or backed by perrys-bathrooms.co.uk (Perrys Bathrooms).

Many of the manufacturers we deal with provide after sales assistance with their products. In the event of a problem after installation an engineer may be available for a site visit to inspect and or fix many problems. Where such services exists we will provide you with the telephone number of the manufacturer's after sales team and to speed up the process we may be able to make the necessary arrangements directly with them.

Returns Policy - Changed Your Mind

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 / Returns Since 31 October 2000 UK consumers now have the right to cancel their order within a "cooling off period" which lasts 7 days from the day after taking delivery. Cancellation must either be in the form of facsimile, email or letter and sent to our address as listed on the contact page our site at www.perrys-bathrooms.co.uk. If you cancel your order under these provisions then you will be responsible for returning the goods to us in good condition or alternatively you will be responsible for our costs in recovering the goods. You must make sure the goods remain undamaged and unused. The delivery of the goods to you is a separate contract for services and is not covered by the cooling off period; therefore any refund made will not include the costs of delivery of the goods to you.
